From the outset of his career as a financial advisor, Wes has provided a personally tailored approach to building clients’ wealth, investing and risk management. He believes that financial strategies should help people make their lives better, and that his role extends beyond just financial expertise but to advocacy for your life purpose.
Wes has over 17 years as a Financial Advisor, and he is a Quantitative Choice Portfolio Manager and Fundamental Choice Portfolio Manager, having completed a rigorous course of study including portfolio management, asset allocation and diversification. Together with the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network objective research and platforms, he is able to leverage a variety of portfolio strategies for each client which have different risk profiles, and asset allocations.
During his career Wes expanded his knowledge of investment diversification, taxation, retirement investing, investment estate planning, and insurance products, through the College for Financial Planning, where he earned his Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) certification.
Wes also comes with a background as mental health counselor, which reinforces his client-centered approach toward investing. He obtained a Master’s degree from St. Mary’s University, where he received the Distinguished Graduate award. Because of his experience counseling people in different life situations, he understands that any wealth strategy must consider clients’ risk tolerance, income and other life goals as having the utmost importance.
Although not currently practicing law, Wes has the unique background of also being a member of the State Bar of Texas. He holds a Juris Doctor degree, having graduated from law school with high honors, Magna Cum Laude.
